Moldovan PM to announce government reshuffles
Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean will announce structural changes in the government in ten days, following discontent in the society.
He said these adjustments are a direct response to the public sentiment expressed during the recent presidential election, Caliber.Az reports, citing Moldovan media.
“Both those who voted for President Sandu and those who supported her opponent have made it clear that the government requires significant reform. I will present specific proposals for these changes in the coming week,” stated Recean.
The prime minister expressed gratitude to all voters, acknowledging the support for Moldova’s European path and the concerns raised about the government’s performance.
He also addressed the Moldovan diaspora, thanking them for their mobilisation and emphasising their integral role in the nation’s future.
President Maia Sandu has previously indicated that a government reshuffle could occur before the end of the year.
Experts believe that these changes are necessary to better align the government with the priorities of the Moldovan people and to address the challenges facing the country.
