Moldovan police: Chisinau airport mined

The Moldovan police has received a message that Chisinau airport was mined.

The message was received at about 12:50 local time (14:50 Baku time) on March 12, police forces said on Telegram channel.

"Border Police officers were alerted by the Information Bureau of Chisinau International Airport, which received a phone call with a message about the mining of the airport," the report says.

It is clarified that passenger registration has been temporarily suspended, airport staff and passengers have been evacuated from the building. Security forces have strengthened security measures, operational groups of the Interior Ministry's specialised services have been mobilised.
