Montenegro outlines new visa rules for Azerbaijani citizens

The government of Montenegro has outlined the new required steps for Azerbaijani citizens to obtain visas to enter the Balkan country.

Milica Burić, head of Montenegro’s diplomatic office in Azerbaijan, stated that applicants for both tourist and work visas will be required to submit their applications through the VFS Global visa centre, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The diplomat said the government of Montenegro has taken steps to ensure that all those wishing to visit and work in Montenegro can easily apply.

“Information on the required documents and the application procedure can be found on the VFS Global Azerbaijan website,” Burić noted.

Montenegro introduced a visa regime for Azerbaijani citizens in January 2026.
