Moscow says Sweden incites its citizens to fight for Ukraine

Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova has said that the Swedish authorities are actually inciting their citizens to fight on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

This is how Zakharova commented on the statement by the press service of the Swedish Foreign Ministry that the participation of Swedish citizens in the defence of Ukraine was not illegal, Kommersant informs.

"Attempts by the Swedish Foreign Ministry to clumsily legitimise such ‘soldiers of fortune’ and thus actually incite more Swedish citizens to travel to the ‘hot zone’ show Stockholm's complete indifference to the fate of its own subjects," Zakharova said.
