Moscow to host international meeting on Syria this week

On March 15-16, Moscow will host an international meeting on Syria at the level of deputy foreign ministers of Türkiye, Russia, Iran, and the Syrian regime.

According to information obtained by Anadolu from diplomatic sources, the Turkish delegation at the meeting will be headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Burak Akchapar.

Russia will be represented at the talks by the President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, and Iran - Foreign Ministry Advisor on Political Affairs Ali Asghar Haji.

Assad's Deputy Foreign Minister Ayman Susan will take part in the talks on behalf of the Syrian regime.
