Moviegoer escorted out after refusing to leave The Odyssey screening
A screening of Christopher Nolan's new film The Odyssey ended in disruption at the Regal LA Live cinema in Los Angeles after a moviegoer refused to leave the auditorium.
According to the New York Post, the man had to be escorted out of the theater by police.
Witnesses said the viewer remained in his seat after the previous screening, insisting that he wanted to watch the film again. X user Kat Tsai wrote: "At Regal LA Live to see The Odyssey in 70 mm and they’re apparently calling the cops because a guy from the previous showing is refusing to leave his seat. He wants to watch it again."
Tsai later said police successfully removed the man from the auditorium. The incident delayed the next screening by around 25 minutes, prompting the theater to shorten the trailer lineup—showing only the trailer for Dune—to make up for lost time.
