MP: Armenian PM conceals amount allocated for foreign intelligence service
Member of the Armenia faction Gegham Manukyan has said that the Armenian government has formed a "black hole" of several billion drams in the 2024 budget.
Starting from the preliminary hearings of the draft state budget for the next year and up to today it was not possible to discuss in any format the provisions affecting the financing of the Armenian Foreign Intelligence Service, Manukyan said in the parliament on December 5, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
Reminding that the next year's budget is to be approved tomorrow, he wondered why the main financial document of the country is adopted with a "black hole" of several billions, but the MPs could not discuss what they will be directed to and how expedient the allocated amount is.
Manukyan reminded that the National Assembly approves the state budget, the MPs are responsible for the document and have the right to have enough information before approving it.
