Nearly 600 trucks queue at Russia-Georgia border crossing

Nearly 600 heavy-duty trucks are waiting in an electronic queue to cross the Russian-Georgian border at the Upper Lars checkpoint in Russia’s North Ossetia, according to Russian media.
Currently, 585 transit trucks are in the electronic queue in the region, awaiting their turn to cross the state border through the Upper Lars international road checkpoint.
Earlier reports indicated that 338 trucks were in the queue as of the evening of September 11, marking a significant increase in the number of vehicles awaiting passage.
Meanwhile, traffic on the Trans-Caucasian Highway and the Georgian Military Road is proceeding without restrictions.
