Musk issues stark warning over falling birth rates “Europe will die out”
American billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk has warned that Europe will disappear if the birth rate does not at least return to the population replacement level.
“Unless the birth rate at least gets back to replacement rate, Europe will die out,” he wrote on X, as reported by Caliber.Az.
Musk responded in this way to a message from American Senator Mike Lee. In his publication, the politician cited statistics on the number of deaths and births in Scotland. He titled the post as follows: "In addition to other problems, Scotland faces a demographic collapse."
Lee cited data according to which from January to July 2025, 26,300 people were born in the country, while the number of deaths was 35,200 people. "That's 34% more deaths than births," the senator concluded.
