Musk predicts US military defeats without necessary reforms

CEO of Tesla, US billionaire Elon Musk has said that without military reform, the US risks defeat in future conflicts.

“American weapons programs need to be completely redone. The current strategy is to build a small number of weapons at a high price to fight yesterday’s war. Unless there are immediate and dramatic changes made, America will lose the next war very badly,” Caliber.Az reports via Musk’s message on X.  

On February 5, a protest outside the US Department of the Treasury targeted Elon Musk's influence over the Treasury. Demonstrators carried signs such as “Stop Elon’s Coup”, “Musk, Hands Off Our Money” and “No One Elected Elon”. Protesters fear that the department's cost-cutting measures, championed by Musk, could harm their social security benefits.
