Mystery drone strike destroys power substation in western Libya VIDEO
An unclaimed FPV/suicide drone hit and destroyed the South Zawiya 30/11 kV substation in western Libya, causing a major fire and widespread outages south of Zawiya.
The attack resulted in widespread disruptions to electricity supplies in the surrounding area.
The incident is the latest in a series of reported drone strikes targeting energy and oil infrastructure in and around Zawiya, a key hub for Libya’s energy sector.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, and the identity of those behind the strike remains unknown.
