Mystery strike damages oil tanker near UAE's Fujairah port
An oil tanker anchored off the coast of the United Arab Emirates near the port of Fujairah was struck by an unidentified projectile, in an incident that caused minor damage but no reported casualties or environmental harm.
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said it received a report about the घटना from a location approximately 23 nautical miles east of Fujairah. According to the information available, the vessel was stationary at anchor when the projectile hit its hull.

The impact resulted in limited structural damage to the tanker. However, the crew remained unharmed, and initial assessments indicated that there were no oil leaks or other forms of environmental damage following the strike.
Authorities have not yet identified the source or nature of the projectile, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
