Natives of Azerbaijan’s liberated Zangilan preparing to return home VIDEO
Natives of Aghali village in Azerbaijan’s Zangilan district, liberated from long-term occupation during the second Karabakh war in autumn 2020, are preparing to return to their houses.
The Baku.TV channel prepared a report about Mirzoyev’s family, in which the family members share their impressions of the reconstructed village and return to native lands, as well as plans for the future, according to Caliber.Az.
The main characters of the video footage are the natives of Aghali village - Telman Mirzoyev and his wife Tarana Mirzoyeva, who are eager to return to their native lands.
Presently, they live in an old dormitory in the Narimanov district of Baku, they remember the difficult years when they were internally displaced persons, those days when 11 people lived in one room. Presently, they are eager to move into their spacious home.
The Smart Village project was implemented in the Aghali village for the first time in Azerbaijan, the most modern technologies were introduced. Some 200 houses have been built here, and 150 two-three-story houses are being built upon the president’s instructions.
The opening ceremony of the project was held on May 28 - the Independence Day of Azerbaijan in the presence of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva.
