AZAL elevates in-flight dining with new “Air Tastes” menu experience
Azerbaijan's leading airline, AZAL, is taking in-flight service to new heights with the launch of its exclusive “Air Tastes” offering — an innovative feature aimed at enhancing passenger comfort and customising dining options onboard.
The airline’s press service told Caliber.Az that this new digital service allows travellers to pre-select meals tailored to their personal tastes, transforming the usual in-flight dining routine into a more curated culinary experience.
Through “Air Tastes,” passengers can choose from a diverse menu featuring three distinct breakfast options, as well as three lunch or dinner variations. The selections include meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes, each accompanied by appetisers and desserts.
Instead of the standard in-flight meal, those who opt for this service will be served the dish of their choice. The feature is available for an additional fee and must be ordered in advance—no later than 24 hours before departure — via AZAL’s official website (www.azal.az) or through the mobile app under the “My Bookings” section.
This personalised menu system is part of AZAL’s broader digitalisation strategy, aimed at upgrading onboard services and boosting overall passenger satisfaction.
