NATO chief says Iran campaign could last days or weeks

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has said that the US military operation in Iran is still in its early stages and could continue for several weeks.

Speaking to the BBC, Rutte described the campaign as “at an early stage… it will take days, possibly weeks, before it concludes.”

In an interview with Fox News, he expressed support for the US operation, emphasising that the elimination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, along with the neutralisation of the country’s nuclear capabilities and ballistic missile programmes, is of critical importance.
