NATO foreign ministers’ meeting set for Antalya in May 2025

An informal meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs will take place in Antalya, Türkiye, on May 14-15, 2025.

The event, anticipated to attract substantial international attention, will be chaired by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, according to an official statement on NATO's website, Caliber.Az reports.

The gathering will occur at the NEST Convention Centre in Belek, with the media centre also located at the same venue. For media representatives, accreditation will be processed at the Pine Beach Belek, where shuttles will transport accredited personnel to the media centre.

In terms of logistics, media representatives are encouraged to book accommodations at Pine Beach Belek directly. The event’s schedule will be confirmed closer to the date, but a social event for ministers is planned for the afternoon of May 14, followed by a formal meeting on May 15. Press conferences are expected to take place in the early afternoon.

As a reminder, the 2025 NATO Summit will take place from June 24 to 26 at the World Forum in The Hague, Netherlands, marking the first time the country hosts the event. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg expressed gratitude to the Netherlands, highlighting its role as a founding member and key contributor to the Alliance’s deterrence and defence efforts.

At the Summit, leaders will address decisions to strengthen and adapt NATO in response to the evolving security landscape. Foreign Minister Hanke Bruins Slot and The Hague’s Mayor, Jan van Zanen, confirmed the summit’s dates and location on May 24, 2024.
