Nearly 4,000 injured in Israel since start of "Lion's Road" operation
The number of casualties in Israel continues to rise following the launch of Operation “Lion's Roar,” with thousands receiving medical treatment since the beginning of the campaign.
According to Intelli News, citing the Israeli Ministry of Health, a total of 3,924 people have been taken to hospitals across the country as of Thursday, March 19, 2026.
At present, 79 individuals remain hospitalised. Among them, one person is in critical condition, although authorities уточнили that this case is not directly linked to rocket fire. Six others are listed in serious condition, 12 in moderate condition, and 60 are reported to have sustained light injuries.
In the past 24 hours alone, hospitals admitted 177 people. Of these, one is in critical condition, two are in moderate condition, 167 have light injuries, and seven individuals are suffering from shock.
The Ministry of Health stressed that a portion of the injuries occur while people are rushing to shelters during attacks. It noted that such incidents can be reduced through proper preparation and previously planned safe routes to protected areas.
