Nearly 500 people detained on New Year's Eve in France

Minister of Internal Affairs France Gerald Darmanin informed that on New Year’s Eve, law enforcement officers detained 490 people from the country, and 690 cars were burned during the riots.

Meanwhile, it is reported that in New York, a young man with a machete attacked the police on New Year’s Eve. So, a 19-year-old young man first tried to hit a law enforcement officer with a machete, and then hit two other employees of the department on the head. As a result of the incident, the guy was wounded in the shoulder and detained.
