Nearly all of Ukraine's Chernihiv loses power after Russian attack

Almost the entire city of Chernihiv has been left without electricity following an attack by Russian forces.

According to Ukrainian media, which cited the Chernihiv city council, the blackout occurred after equipment at energy infrastructure facilities was damaged during the Russian strike.

City authorities said the damage to this infrastructure led to widespread power outages across nearly all parts of Chernihiv.
