Netanyahu: Iran’s current leadership is “destined to fall”
Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Iran’s political system is weakening and will not be able to recover in its previous form, according to the Clash Report Telegram channel.
“The foundations of this regime of terror in Iran have cracked. It will not return to what it was, and I tell you – it is destined to fall,” Netanyahu stated.
Iran is currently facing a prolonged multi-front conflict with the United States and Israel that has intensified since late February 2026, following large-scale strikes on Iranian military infrastructure and the reported loss of senior leadership figures, which has disrupted parts of the decision-making hierarchy in Tehran.
Despite this, multiple independent assessments indicate that the Islamic Republic’s core power structure remains intact, with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) continuing to dominate security, economic, and military coordination while absorbing much of the wartime command role.
At the same time, the conflict has triggered internal pressure points including renewed anti-government unrest, severe economic strain, and recurring nationwide communication blackouts, all of which are increasing uncertainty about long-term political stability.
