Netanyahu: Israel destroys 70% of Iran’s steel production capabilities

Israeli forces have targeted several steel and petrochemical plants in Iran and plan to continue strikes on these facilities, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on X.

“Today, after destroying 70% of their steel production capabilities—which is used to manufacture weapons against us—we struck their petrochemical plants,” Netanyahu said.

He added that these industrial facilities act as “cash machines” generating revenue for Iran, making them priority targets for future Israeli operations.
