Netanyahu: Israel supports US plan for naval blockade on Iran

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he had spoken with U.S. Vice President JD Vance following negotiations in Pakistan, as discussions over Iran’s nuclear programme and regional security continue.

Netanyahu said the pair spoke on April 12 while Vance was on the plane returning from the talks in Islamabad, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.

Israel supports President Donald Trump’s “strong stance to impose a naval blockade on Iran,” Netanyahu said, adding that Israel backs the U.S. position that Iran must remove all of its enriched nuclear material and must refrain from any enrichment within Iran for several decades.
