Netanyahu: Israel, US removed existential threat in Iran operation
Israel and the United States have prevented Iran from developing a nuclear bomb during a joint operation, thereby eliminating an existential threat, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video statement.
Netanyahu emphasised that the campaign has not yet ended, according to foreign media
“But even now it can be clearly stated: we have historic achievements. We went into the campaign because Iran was very close to nuclear weapons and the capability to produce hundreds of missiles per day. Two existential threats that we had to remove from over our heads,” he noted.
Netanyahu added that Iran still possesses enriched uranium that must be removed and warned that either this will happen through an agreement or it will happen by other means.
