Netanyahu: Trump has joined Israel in crucial effort to save the world
The United States and Israel have united in what Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described as a “crucial effort to save the world” — referring to the two countries’ strike on Iran.
According to The Jerusalem Post, Netanyahu warned that if the regime in Tehran acquires nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missile delivery systems, it would pose a threat to all humanity.
“And if this regime, this terrorist regime, of the kind we've never seen in the world, if they get nuclear weapons and the means to deliver ballistic missiles, intercontinental ballistic missiles, they will threaten all of humanity. So we set out to protect ourselves, but in doing so we protect many others
If this regime — unlike any we have ever seen — obtains nuclear weapons and the means to deliver intercontinental ballistic missiles, it will threaten all of humanity. Therefore, we decided to defend ourselves, but in doing so, we are defending many other countries as well. […] Donald Trump for “joining us in this crucial effort to save the world,” the prime minister said.
Netanyahu also stated that the Iranian people could soon overthrow the regime in Tehran, describing the situation as “a struggle for humanity.”
According to the Israeli leader, “every hour” of the military operation represents “another step in dismantling the Iranian death machine that has been built over thirty years.”
He urged Israeli society to focus on “determination, safety, and unity” and to follow safety guidelines.
