The Netherlands has announced it will allocate €250 million to supply air defence systems and munitions for F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, as part of the US-led Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) initiative.
According to Caliber.Az, Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans confirmed the package, stating that Ukraine remains in urgent need of additional military support.

Daarom draagt Nederland nogmaals €250 miljoen bij aan leveringen uit Amerikaanse voorraad (PURL): luchtverdediging, F16-munitie etc.

“The Netherlands is once again providing €250 million for air defence systems, F-16 munitions, and other equipment from American stockpiles under the PURL programme,” he wrote on X.
The PURL initiative, developed by the United States and NATO, does not involve direct military assistance from the US. Instead, it allows European countries to purchase American-made weapons for Ukraine, addressing Kyiv’s most urgent requirements.
