New York hosts meeting of Azerbaijani-American Medical Association

The second meeting of the Azerbaijani-American Medical Association has been held in New York.

Dozens of Azerbaijani doctors working in the US and other countries of the world gathered again at the event held at the Turkish House, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

President of the Association Sabina Hajiyeva, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the US Khazar Ibrahim, Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan's State Committee for Work with the Diaspora Elshad Aliyev addressed the meeting.

They emphasised the importance of the meeting, it was noted that Azerbaijani doctors working in the US represent our country at a high level.

The meeting also discussed the successes achieved in various fields of medicine in recent years and the activity of Azerbaijani doctors working in the world's leading medical institutions. Discussions and exchange of views on many important topics were held at the event throughout the day.
