Next International Caspian Energy Forum kicks off in Baku
The 12th International Caspian Energy Forum held under the aegis of Caspian Energy Club and Enermus JSC has begun on the occasion of the events dedicated to the Green World Solidarity Year, 30th anniversary of the Contract of the Century, and 25th anniversary of the Caspian Energy brand.
The main topics that the 12th International Caspian Energy Forum will focus on are 30th anniversary of the Contract of the Century – ensuring sustainable transition between two periods; stable transportation of green energy generated in Azerbaijan to Europe; transition to a green economy in countries located along the Middle Corridor; “Green Karabakh”, Caliber.Az reports via Caspian Energy Forum.
Over 500 delegates are participating in the forum, including leaders from government institutions, state, and multinational companies, international financial institutions, leading analytical centres, investment firms, and rating agencies from the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic regions, as well as accredited representatives of diplomatic and international missions in Azerbaijan.
The main goal is to showcase the sustainable development initiatives taking place in the region, highlight the positive impacts of ongoing reforms in the Middle Corridor countries' economies towards a greener future, attract investment in eco-friendly projects, and promote both public and private sector “green” projects on an international scale.
Note that, the 12th International Caspian Energy Forum will feature over 500 participants, including heads of government agencies, executives from public and multinational companies, representatives from international financial institutions, leading think tanks, investment firms, and rating agencies from the Caspian, Black Sea, and Baltic regions, as well as members of diplomatic and international missions accredited in Azerbaijan.
