Night alert in Persian Gulf: UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait targeted by drones

There were air raid sirens throughout the night in the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait.

Saudi Arabia said it intercepted more than 20 drones in the eastern part of the country, Al Jazeera reports.

In Kuwait, some of their energy infrastructure was hit and there were partial power outages.

The damage from falling debris has been incredibly dangerous in multiple cities in the GCC.

In the UAE, its media office had to put out an alert on social media that due to the current weather conditions, thunder may be heard, basically reminding people that not everything they hear is an explosion or an interception.

People here are on a knife’s edge and it’s become all too familiar in the UAE and around the GCC.
