Nighttime attack hits energy facility in Odesa
06 April 2026 12:49
In the early hours of April 6, Russian forces struck an energy facility operated by DTEK in Odesa.
By morning, electricity had been restored to critical infrastructure and nearly 3,000 households, DTEK said on Telegram.
However, around 16,700 homes in parts of the Prymorskyi, Khadzhybeiskyi, and Kyivskyi districts remain without power.
Officials report that the damage is extensive, and full restoration will take time. Workers on site are clearing debris and doing everything possible to return electricity as quickly as they can.
