The casualties occurred as air and artillery strikes targeted multiple residential areas across the enclave, according to WAFA.

Israeli occupation forces also fired flares northeast of the city amid the ongoing ground offensive in the area.
In central Gaza, the Israeli occupation military carried out a series of airstrikes on multiple areas.
Warplanes targeted a residential block in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, resulting in the tragic deaths of at least six civilians and injuries to dozens, with many still trapped under the rubble.
In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has resulted in the tragic loss of 20,258 lives and left around 53,688 wounded, with over 70 per cent of them being women and children.
