North Korea, China strengthen diplomatic ties in high-level talks

In Pyongyang on April 9, the foreign ministers of North Korea and China held talks focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting with North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated that Beijing is ready to jointly develop and deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.

Wang Yi arrived in Pyongyang for a two-day visit at the invitation of North Korea’s Foreign Ministry.

This marks the first visit by a Chinese foreign minister to North Korea since September 2019.
