North Korea condemns US and Israeli military actions against Iran
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of North Korea has strongly condemned the military actions of the United States and Israel against Iran, citing concerns over regional stability and international security, according to KCNA.
A spokesperson stated that the recent attacks constitute illegal military aggression, undermining peace and security in the region and exacerbating global instability.
“Any rhetorical threats and military action, which violate the political system and territorial integrity of the relevant country, interfere in its internal affairs and openly advocate the attempt to overthrow its social system, deserve worldwide criticism and rejection as they can never be tolerated,” the statement read.
The North Korean ministry also affirmed respect for Iran’s domestic political process, noting that the Iranian Council of Experts recently officially elected a new leader of the Islamic Revolution. “We respect the right of the Iranian people to choose their Supreme Leader and their decision,” the spokesperson said.
