North Korean leader assesses achievements at worker's party congress
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un delivered a key report assessing the achievements of the eighth-term Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) Central Committee at the second-day sitting of the Ninth Congress of the WPK on February 20.
He highlighted the progress made over the past five years in various sectors, including politics, the economy, culture, defense, and diplomacy, Caliber.Az reports per North Korean state media.
In his address, Kim Jong Un praised the Party's leadership for successfully implementing its policies, driving substantial development, and overcoming challenges.
He emphasised that these achievements have laid a solid foundation for continued growth and advancement in the country's socialist construction. The report also outlined that the party's "internal strength has been bolstered, ensuring the persistence and future success of the nation's development efforts."
