North Macedonia buys Turkish howitzers

North Macedonia has ordered 18 units of BORAN howitzers from Türkiye.

According to Caliber.Az, the news came from SavunmaSanayiST.com, a Turkish defence industry and military aviation news platform.

The Macedonian army will be supplied with three batteries of the BORAN light towed howitzer, each with 6 howitzers, according to the report.

The BORAN howitzer, which has recently entered service with the Turkish armed forces, is being purchased as part of the modernization of the artillery units of the Macedonian army.
