Norway to increase military aid for Ukraine

Norway's Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide has said his country is planning a "substantial" increase in aid to Ukraine. 

"We are talking about a significant increase, which is really relevant compared to what we have done so far," Le Monde reports.

He said the amount has not been determined yet and will be discussed soon.

According to Eide, the amount of aid has not yet been determined as it has to be discussed with other parties.

"We can't be complacent and say we're paying a lot. We really have to think about how this ends strategically. And a Russian victory is not an option," added the minister, who visited Ukraine last week.
