Norway, US emerge as EU’s key gas lifelines

The European Union currently sources the majority of its gas supplies from Norway and the United States, European Commission spokesperson Eva Hrdinova said.

Speaking at a briefing in Brussels, Hrdinova said Norway remains the bloc’s largest gas supplier, with the US ranking second, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.  

“We currently receive most of our gas from Norway and the US, with slightly more coming from Norway,” Hrdinova said.
