NUST names auditorium after Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) unveiled Heydar Aliyev auditorium, built to pay tribute to Heydar Aliyev—the national leader of Azerbaijan—on the occasion of the centenary of his birth.
Azerbaijan ambassador Khizr Farhadov, diplomats of various countries, government officials and a large number of teachers and students of the university were present on the occasion.
The Embassy of Azerbaijan hosted the event highlighting the life and diplomatic services of Heydar Aliyev.
During the event, Ambassador Farhadov expressed his gratitude for the lasting friendship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, especially the Karabakh conflict.
He acknowledged the unwavering diplomatic support from the people and government of Pakistan.
Ambassador Farhadov said that Pakistan is the first country to recognize Azerbaijan, which promoted historical relations.
Heydar Aliyev Auditorium is a proof of the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, while addressing the ceremony, pro-rector research, innovation aid commercialization (NUST).
Dr Rizwan Riaz highlighted the important partnership between the two countries and numerous collaborations in the universities of Azerbaijan and Pakistan and also highlighted the role of NUST in creating opportunities.
