NYT: Yemeni Houthis ready to enter the conflict

A senior representative of the Houthis has stated that the Iran-backed militia in Yemen is prepared to join the war.

According to The New York Times, Houthi official Mohammed al-Bukhaiti said in an interview that the expansion of the conflict is only a matter of time.

“The expansion of the conflict to include other countries, including Yemen, is only a matter of time, and our hands are on the trigger,” al-Bukhaiti said. “Ultimately, the United States will be the biggest loser in this trajectory.”
