Official: Azerbaijan has about 100 mosques on de-occupied territories

Azerbaijan has about 100 mosques on its territories liberated from Armenian occupation.

Deputy Chairman of State Committee for Work with Religious Entities Gunduz Ismayilov made the remarks, Report informs.

"The location of more than 67 mosques has so far been determined in the territories liberated from occupation," he said, adding that there are about 100 mosques on the de-occupied territories.

Ismayilov added that the work to identify the whereabouts of mosques is underway.
