Official: EU does not want to block development of India, China

The European Union does not intend to block the development of India, China and other countries, but only if it does not run counter to European interests and values, EU’s high representative for foreign policy Joseph Borrell said.

"We do not want to block the development of China, India or other powers. But it is logical that we want to ensure that it does not harm our interests, does not threaten our values and does not undermine the international world order based on rules," he said, TASS reports.
