Official: EU intends to step up support for Azerbaijan–Armenia peace efforts
The European Union intends to intensify its support for the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos said following talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
Kos highlighted Türkiye’s strategic importance to regional stability and reaffirmed the European Union’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Ankara, Caliber.Az reports per her post on X.
Türkiye is a key partner for stability in the South Caucasus, Mediterranean & Black Sea regions.

She also described Türkiye as “a key partner for stability in the South Caucasus, Mediterranean and Black Sea regions” and said her discussions with Fidan focused on how Ankara and Brussels can advance a “positive agenda” in their relations.
