The Chairpersons of the Judicial Councils of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) are set to sign a declaration aimed at strengthening the protection of citizens’ rights across member countries.

Speaking at the third meeting of the Chairpersons of the Judicial Councils of the OTS, held in Baku on June 19, Aida Seidakmatova, Chairperson of the Judicial Council of the Kyrgyz Republic, emphasised the historic nature of the document, Caliber.Az reports via local media

"The declaration we will sign here should be aimed at protecting the rights of our citizens. We will sign a historic document today. This will be a document with deep roots,” Seidakmatova said.

She also underlined the shared history, language, and traditions among the Turkic peoples, noting that the legal cooperation among OTS member states reflects these common values.
