Oman confirms drone attack on Duqm port fuel facility

Oman said a drone struck a fuel storage tank at its port in Duqm on March 3, in an incident that authorities confirmed caused no casualties.

The state-run news agency said no one was hurt in the attack, Associated Press reports.

Duqm has been a key resupply route for the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, which is operating in the Arabian Sea. The port serves as an important logistical hub supporting the vessel’s activities in the region.
