Oman hands protest note to Iranian ambassador over drone attacks
Oman summoned Iran’s ambassador to Muscat, Mousa Farhang, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and handed him a protest note following drone attacks on several sites in the Governorates of Musandam and Al Wusta.
According to Oman’s Foreign Ministry, Deputy Foreign Minister for Administrative and Financial Affairs Sheikh Khalid Almuslahi held a meeting with the Iranian diplomat.

During the talks, the Iranian side was presented with an official protest note over the drone strikes targeting a number of facilities in Musandam and Al Wusta.
Al Muslahi expressed Muscat’s concern over the attacks and called for respect for state sovereignty, the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference in internal affairs.
He also stressed the importance of respecting the shared traditions, historical ties, and values that unite the peoples of Oman and Iran.
