Oman intercepts three Iranian drones in southern airspace

Oman has intercepted and destroyed three Iranian drones in an attempted attack.

Two of the drones were shot down over the southern Dhofar province, while a third crashed near the port city of Salalah, Oman News Agency said in a post on X.

Omani authorities condemned the incident and assured that all necessary measures would be taken to protect the nation’s territory and maintain national security.
