Oman, Qatar talk over security of navigation in Strait of Hormuz

Oman and Qatar have discussed issues related to the security of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz amid expectations of a possible agreement between the United States and Iran.

Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi and Qatar’s Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a telephone conversation, according to Oman’s Foreign Ministry on X.

During the call, the ministers also exchanged views on recent developments in the region.

Separate attention was given to regional stability and reducing tensions in the Gulf.
