Oman’s Musandam exclave comes under drone attack

Facilities in Oman’s Musandam Governorate were targeted in a drone attack, according to the Oman News Agency (ONA), citing a source in the country’s security services.

The source did not specify who the drones belonged to or whether the attack caused any damage.

Musandam is an Omani exclave located on a peninsula overlooking the Strait of Hormuz.

On July 12, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates reported repelling aerial attacks from Iran. According to Qatar’s Interior Ministry, three people, including a child, were injured after debris from intercepted missiles fell in the area.
