Omani foreign minister calls for review of relations with US
Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi has called for a reassessment of relations with the United States in light of new strategic realities, while describing Israel's actions as the main security threat facing Gulf countries.
He said it is necessary to adjust relations with America so that they better reflect the strategic realities revealed by the war, Caliber.Az reports, citing Al Jazeera.
Addressing the situation in the Middle East, al-Busaidi stressed that the most serious threats to the security of the Gulf do not originate from within, but from decisions and actions taken from outside.
Commenting on the ongoing conflict in the Gulf region, the minister described it as a catastrophe that had no UN mandate and failed to achieve any of its objectives.
