One dead, one injured in hang glider accident in Bulgaria

One person was killed and another seriously injured after a motorised hang glider crashed into the sea near Nessebar, Bulgaria, on August 12, according to Bulgarian media.

The accident occurred at around 11 a.m. local time near Olympic Hopes beach in the Aurelia area. An instructor and a client, both Bulgarian citizens, were aboard the hang glider when they fell into the water.

The identity of the person who died has not yet been established. The 71-year-old instructor from Sofia was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
