One injured in heavy shelling of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region
At least one person was injured during a series of Russian strikes on Ukraine’s southeastern Zaporizhzhia region, Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, confirmed.
According to him, Russian forces carried out 386 attacks across 35 settlements in the region over the course of the day, Caliber.Az reports.
According to the regional administration, the strikes included 19 air attacks, 207 drone strikes — most of them involving first-person-view (FPV) unmanned aerial vehicles — four attacks using multiple launch rocket systems, and 156 artillery strikes.
Authorities recorded 67 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles and civilian infrastructure. Emergency services are continuing to assess the impact of the attacks and provide assistance to affected residents.
